Not all of it by a long shot, but he continues idly toying with the water in the tidepool as he was before, spinning it into a tiny whorl.]
If no one's bothered to inform you yet, you may have a good chance at living.
[ten comments to go but just think of how many francy and zia have]
Oh? [He doesn't sound terribly worried. Maybe a little exasperated.] Everyone avoids me. As they should. [He watches the water with golden eyes for a moment.]
[Shirasu is probably minding his own business, walking alone, and he promptly gets accosted by--
--flowers?
It's very Alice in Wonderland. The flowers are standing straight up on the ground, the roots present and twisted like legs. These legs carry them along together in a little parade, the stems waving, the leaves flapping like arms. The wide circumference of their heads turn as if they are looking faces. The others, with bulbs, spin back and forth.
They seem to be leading him somewhere in silence...?]
For several moments, Shirasu simply watches them with a slight frown, observing, because this is certainly a lot of effort to go to-- but there's really only one showoff he knows, isn't there?
So he eventually follows along with a sigh, though considering the situation? He's absolutely on higher alert than usual, on the off chance this is leading to some sort of surprise. This is the sort of thing he'd expect to be a distraction, he's just Like This... he also keeps a little distance from those flowers, in case.]
[what's up hisoka, there's no night right now but it's been an appropriate interval, SO. time to go feed the sharks. shirasu is in the water area, casually adding a few sliced-open fish to the water where the sharks chill.]
Well, I suppose we'll be finding out what they meant about things getting worse, should we miss someone corrupted.
[Waaaaaaah. Shirasu is so scary, standing by the water and feeding sharks. He looks very surprised (even if maybe he isn't) and interested as he approaches to stand beside.
It's really not much different than watching Illumi play with needles.]
What a problem... Do you think it'll grow or just spread? Say, we have a scary killer on our hands, too. Someone doing it for sport.
[Well, this likely won't take very long considering they can't be away from partners for more than, like, twenty minutes without suffering grievous stress.
Anyway, he's lying on the ground with his ankles crossed and his hands resting on his stomach, but he can't be seen when Shirasu walks up to the garden and koi pond. All at once, the grass and flowers unravel and bend away, revealing him.]
[Whenever Shirasu is alone, one of the waddling flowers from before appear. The bent leaves on the bottom, the "legs," march steadily and professional toward Shirasu. It has something in its "hands."
When it gets to Shirasu's feet, it'll bow its daffodil head and then lift up the piece of folded paper for Shirasu to take.]
Namine. Earth.
[And then, very slowly, the flower will wither into brown, crunchy pieces.]
[despite the enthusiasm in my subject line, shirasu has none when he comes to find hisoka. he's a little listless, a little more flat in demeanor than he generally is; he looks neither pleased or displeased on finding the clown he's looking for, wherever the fuck he is.]
We meet again, I suppose. It took them longer than expected.
[He's got one decent fight out of Tsuru, so he's not antsy at least. Just.........still bored; he's swinging in the vine hammock at their favorite place.
The place they got "married."
He seems to be playing some kind of card game on his stomach and lap.]
You made it. I'm surprised. I was hoping you'd last longer. Wonder what all he did to get such a good hand. Must have been something big.
Hisoka saunters in like he knows he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar, but he doesn't care because he's cute. He's trying not to smile even though Shirasu sounds deathly serious.]
[well i guess they're sharing a house now and i hate that! anyway.
after spying on the monday meeting living-side and probably spending some time with akane first, shirasu dragged hisoka off to the armory to fight and get some of the leftover annoyance of the weekend out of his system. whatever the results, i imagine they probably draw a lot, they've returned to the house where shirasu is just. sprawled on the bed, arms folded behind his head for the time being.]
Well, those results were much more underwhelming than I expected. And here I'd hoped to push something along, if they hadn't just come right out with it...
[tfw someone's confession ruins your attempt to fuck with somebody.]
[Ah yes. How can he settle down when he was worked so well? Hm. It's fine. He at least seems very pleased. Much like a satiated cat?]
It won't work. I know from experience. Trying to play games with them... they'll only call you out every time.
[Someone may or may not have tried several times to play some games with some of the others, and they always ran around for more information and shut him down. RIP.]
[Hisoka is, of course, going to lie on the opposite side so their heads are notched together at the scoop of the neck and shoulder. Like yin and yang?]
Being naughty? [He smiles though.] What are you scheming to get us in trouble now?
This time, he doesn't just slink in and lounge around. Not exactly. He definitely slinks, but instead of lounging around, he lounges specifically on Shirasu. Wherever the other man may be. He'd love to come sliding in around the neck from behind to drape, but, you know.
Sometimes, Shirasu is being a butt and lying on the bed.]
[it's fine, because he's on the couch this time, actually? so it's entirely possible for hisoka to appear and drape on him, which he allows despite the fact that he probably noticed him approaching.]
...what is it.
[he tilts his head back just far enough to try to glance at hisoka, a brow raised. it's the last week, what else does he want?
well. shirasu knows what he wants. he's just not acknowledging it easily.]
w0 disaster
He's guarding the entrance to the shrine by standing against one beam of the archway on the inside. When Shirasu appears, he lifts his head.]
