[For a moment or two, he watches the orb. A sliver of spike vine, maybe a thorn, but thicker, juts out suddenly through it. Being water, it probably won't pop, but it might splash Shirasu a little.]
But you did come visit me so quickly that first week.
On business, yes. Are you sure you aren't estimating yourself too highly, Hisoka?
[it does create a splash, but shirasu gestures, spinning those drops of water together; the orb ripples, its surface stretching out to gather them back in before he alters its shape. shirasu reforms it around that spiked bit of vine, making it the center of a water flower that then closes around it.]
Why would I do that? [Binch, he is always estimating himself too highly.] Are you saying you didn't come to see me because you were interested?
[Oh no. With literally anyone else but these two, that would be really cute.] Hooh. [Is Shirasu giving me a flower? He's a tad less interested in it than he is in how skilled Shirasu has become with the water itself.]
You would be a skilled nen user. Ah. Maybe you would be a transmuter like me. [He props his head up in a hand, the arm looped over the edge of the hammock.] You would be able to change the properties of your life energy.
[hisoka's harassed him with flowers multiple times what are you saying anna,,
anyway, shirasu doesn't bother turning to fully face him, letting the flower burst and re-shaping it into more of a cushion shape beneath his head. water pillow. he's comfier now.]
That does sound interesting, I think-- but if that's what you are, then are there other types?
Enhancers, emitters, conjurers, manipulators, and specialists. [His dangling arm swings back and forth lazily.] You perform a divination ritual to see your aura type. A leaf on a glass of water.
Depending on what happens to it, then you'll know. ♥
[i'm delaying any more flirting that's why!! also, suffer? bc he wants to know things?
which is why he hums, his tone a little more curious.]
Well, the names at least lend themselves to guessing at what they're capable of... is it something like our elements, where a particular type of person is more likely to be one type than another?
Yes. [His lids fall equally as lazily over his eyes.] Everyone gives off life energy. People lose it all the time out of the top of the head. It's such a small amount, no one is hurt.
But once you open the points of your body which leak life energy and do not close them, you'll die. Becoming aware of life energy and being able to manipulate it is the first step toward mastering your aura.
For example, mine is Bungee Gum... I gave my aura the properties of both rubber and gum. It's very useful. Maybe before we leave, I'll show it to you.
Each week, we do a task in order to receive a clue about how this works. It seems everyone must die. One should be left. However, the one left shouldn't be corrupted. [ha ha] Oh.
Apparently, it's possible to be revived and returned home.
[He would honestly be very pissed if the person left had the power to pick and choose. He'd be very pissed if they chose not to return him to his rightful place after all the hard work and effort he put in to become powerful and, God forbid, "do the right thing"--since it benefitted him...]
We can ask. Or you and I can simply do a task for this week and see what secrets they give us. Hm?
[He just pretends to keep pouting. He even sinks back into the hammock far enough that only the edge of him can be seen over the edge, sort of like he's sulking.
He's mostly hamming it up, but Shirasu deserves it for being mean.]
I'm sure Tsurumaru can be tolerated for one more...

[he hums an amused note, though, as he forms an orb of water between his hands and idly toys with its shape. he missed his powers, thanks.]
Perhaps I actually am hard to get, you know.

You got a lot better with your hands.

[please no it's a veiled threat not to get back on his bullshit too hard, there's a reason it's drowning the vine thanks!!
but yea I guess it would be cute with anyone else, they're just like this though.]
I'm a little out of practice, after having it sealed for a while, but... it's easy enough to pick back up.

How exciting.

[he takes all that in thoughtfully, but-
that last bit brings up another thought.]
Leave to where, I wonder... our own afterlives?
[suffer more. he doesn't know shit.]

[No he didn't, but listen.]

he raises a brow at that, though, head tilted; there's slightly more interest in his expression, there.]
It's possible, is it... but how probable? Is it a case where the one left chooses? If so- those like you and I may well be left behind.

[he just died and he's tired and he hates everything?
but- information.]
I suppose if it might let us find out, though-- it might be worth the effort. I still can't help but feel our chances are low, either way.

You aren't the only one who's bitter, you know. If you don't, then I'll have to do it with someone else...

[he says that so casually for what amounts to 'what, am I your only option'.]

[Stop bullying him. :(]
And here I thought we made a good team. Oh well... I suppose I'll have to work with someone else...

[shirasu is just
going to continue to go with it, because he's still being a little mean. it's making him feel better, and also, he refuses to give in to this first.
i hate that this is the one thing helping the apathy, what the fuck.]
I suppose you can return to him, then, if you're so eager.
no subject
Are you really planning to give me up so easily? I didn't know our marriage meant so little to you.
no subject
[he exhales a sigh, there, though just like hisoka's hamming it up-- it's only there for effect.]
After all, you've called others the same.
