[Leaning off the beam, he turns to face Shirasu. It might be one of the few honorable politenesses he has in his entire body.]

I wanted to see who was out late.

Then I suppose you've succeeded in that.

[He folds his arms in front of himself, looking Hisoka over with his head slightly cocked. One of the sparser profiles, if he remembers correctly; a person of some interest for that fact alone.]

I take it you're something of a night owl, Morow-san? Or do you simply have no interest in sleeping in a strange place.

I don’t mind sleeping here. [He is just maybe too confident in himself is why there is No Fear.] But being up late is more fun.

Did you come to see this?

[He motions of a shoulder at the shrine.]

You have an interesting idea of 'fun'.

[It's much quieter at night; better for looking around, but he certainly wouldn't call it entertaining by any means.

He glances briefly to the shrine when it's indicated, though, lightly shrugging one shoulder.]

I cannot say I came out to see it in particular, no-- only that I have seen most other places already.

[He offers Shirasu a cursory glance but surprisingly turns his back to go through the the archway. Will Shirasu follow the weird clown man??]

[After just a moment of hesitation-- yeah, he will, his footsteps unnaturally quiet behind Hisoka.]

Very well, then.

[He falls back into silence after that, paying more attention to both his company and the scenery; this isn't exactly the same as what he knows, but it's still something familiar, right down to the peaceful and serene feeling of the place.

... it's a little uncomfortable, and he speaks again just to break that calm silence.]

[Both hands rise up at his sides, a kind of shrug without moving the shoulders.]

[It doesn't mean he isn't interested in the purifying bowl or the offering box... or even the bell hanging above them at the head of the shrine. Hm.]

Have you figured out your power yet? Or did you come out to hide in the night to try...

Why, is that what you've chosen to do? Or just your assumption of a stranger?

[He doesn't confirm or deny-- Hisoka probably isn't wrong, but still. That's not a topic he'll speak on too easily.

Shirasu also doesn't explain aloud as he goes through the proper process (of purification, at least, he has nothing to offer), allowing Hisoka to watch; he simply assumes he'll be paying attention, and if he doesn't, well. That'll be his problem!]

I find it more peaceful at night.

Oh, no. I figured mine out a few hours after we woke up. [He smiles pleasantly, as if this is just... a normal thing!] It wasn't very difficult.

[He's watching. Of course he's watching. Poor Shirasu gets the heavy golden snake eyes soaking everything up.]

Your curiosity is more to the point, I see. Not that I can truly say I mind passing over the usual small talk.

[If it bothers him to be watched that way, he doesn't show it. He just steps aside to allow Hisoka room, if he decides to do the same. Purify your clown ass self.]

Considering I did not see any trouble come of it, I take it your discovery was fairly uneventful.

[Instead of cleansing himself like he ought to, Hisoka simply tips his head back to peer at the bell like before. Him.]

I like to keep it a surprise. It's more fun that way.

[Reaching up, he just gives the bell a ring without any care or regard for ritual or circumstance. :)]

But also, Shirasu isn't stopping him... he glances up as Hisoka rings the bell, a brow slightly raised.]

I expect others might disagree.

[Not the type to go along with what's meant to be done, apparently; less predictable, but more interesting. Maybe he'll be worthwhile.]

But I suppose there are limited ways to entertain oneself, so far.

The looks on their faces is what will make it so entertaining. It isn't good to show your hand when playing cards.

[He's full of shit but he absolutely sounds like he means it, no hint of amusement in his expression.]

To this particular shrine? I have not. I have helped care for a somewhat similar one, though.

[This isn't the same, but there's no escaping the familiarity, is there. He isn't sure how long he really wants to stay, but neither does he particularly care for the disrespectful treatment of it (he's just not going to unpack that.)]

It's a good thing you don't mind being bored; they rarely tend to be exciting places.

[Shirasu can't call that too shocking an outlook, after some of his comments so far. After a momentary pause, a contemplative glance back down the path that led here-]

I would say it's strange that a game seems to have few guidelines for playing, but... I'd assume you think it's more fun that way.

[That gets a slightly arched brow, a silent question-- how's the guess.]

What else could it be? All of us here, unable to leave. A place we've never been. Two "leaders" we don't know. None of us have met anyone else before except for a few. Hm, hm. What a curious game.

[He follows Shirasu's gaze back along the path toward the entrance.]

I suppose guidelines could make it more interesting. Depending on what they are...
