[ Silently, Minato digs into his pocket and pulls out a playing card. It's the Ace of Spades. ]

[ Nobody else would break into his room to do this???? ]

Ah. [He leans just inside the doorway, crossing his arms.] It's a magic card.

Were you thinking somebody else? Four can control animals. She has the means but no motive, but motive doesn't matter with the corruption.

[ Though. There's still plenty of people whose powers Minato doesn't know. And he likes Four, even though she hates him. He sure does manage to piss her off every time they talk. ]

It does, but everyone has to wait. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be anyone to vote for. Or rather, one less if this person didn’t kill two people. Right?

[He shrugs just some.]

[ Here is where Hisoka is the only person who would ever say "you're a smart boy" to Minato and he wants to believe it, believe that it's okay for him to just be himself and also believe in himself in general. He's not so sure. But he sits up a little straighter, and tries. ]

I'll do my best... [ Assuming he's not the culprit here. He still can't shake that off. ]

[ It should be easier with two— Lune had hinted at that last week too, but was it easy? No. Did they almost not have anybody to vote for?? Yes. ]

[Hmm. He looks a tad amused at the declaration. Minato may not have that burning, raging shounen look in the eyes Gon does, but... still a very entertaining, interesting boy.]

We do. [Well, they do. Hisoka is just here to have a good time.] How's your ear and your arm? It won't hold you back, will it?

[ They hurt, and since Hisoka saw him last, Minato's also gotten his foot half blown off, but everything is properly medicated and bandaged and he shouldn't die from the wounds. At the very least, they shouldn't get infected if he's careful, and while the lack of painkillers means being awake is agony, pain doesn't seem like something that touches Minato as much as it does others.

He shakes his head, and shrugs. ]

I'll live. Your leg— Emma showed me a plant that's good for this sort of stuff. Can I take a look at it?

[He'll live. It's good enough for Hisoka. While he wouldn't exactly enjoy Minato missing both arms and both legs, if it were the case and Minato could say, "I'll live," Hisoka would accept it.

If Minato couldn't, he just wasn't strong enough.]
