[Wherever Minato may be, there is a clown looking for him. Concerning. Except Minato doesn't get a lot of the powermove posturing the others usually get; there's no need when Minato likes him relatively well.
Is the sleepy boy still trying to sleep away the troubles.]
[ The sleepy boy is trying to sleep away the troubles, lying on a bench in the garden next to the koi pond when Hisoka comes across him. He opens his eyes without lifting his head or making any motion to get up, just glances around until his eyes finds Hisoka's. ]
[At first, Hisoka crouches down in front of the bench by Minato's face. He smiles amiably.] You had quite a day to top off your week, didn't you? [And then he stands again.
Without disturbing Minato, he steps up onto the back of the bench, making it look fluid and easy. Again, he crouches down. He doesn't wobble, not even resting on the thin bench back with nothing more than the front soles of his feet.]
[ If Minato were reasonable, he might be worried about Hisoka accidentally toppling over and crushing him, but all he feels is relief, gratitude that Hisoka's perched himself up there and makes it easy to speak face to face without Minato needing to get up. ]
It wasn't fun... But I feel happier than I do last week. Is that weird?
[ It's weird. It should be. Nobody should volunteer to kill somebody else, but here he is lying on a bench, peaceful and ready to sleep his way through the next three days, instead of being haunted and kept awake by his sins. It's weird. ]
[It's given so quickly, without any hesitation, and so earnestly.] You had a lot to get done. Now you're all done out. [He makes it seem very normal. Gambling the entire week. Sleeping all trial. Murdering a comrade.]
It was very interesting what you used. Not your bat? I was wondering--did you find it, or did someone give it to you?
[ The answer is so quick, but Minato takes comfort in the validation all the same, without question. He had done nothing, and then everything all at once; if it weren't for people constantly reminding him, he wouldn't be able to tell the number of days that have passed. ]
I asked for it. I wanted something quick and painless... I wouldn't be able to do that with my nailbat. I wouldn't have been strong enough.
[ If he were stronger, if he could complete the task with as much ease as Lune had with Mary, then maybe the nailbat would see some more use. Unfortunately, he's not. ]
I see. So they will give you what you ask for, hm? How nice of them.
[The golden eyes lower to Minato, and when he tilts his head, the earrings jingle.] Quick and painless. Not bad. It doesn't do to make a mess. What counts is the fight, not the end. [At least to Hisoka, who is all about the fight and not the dead body afterward.]
Ah, but now we are missing two, aren't we? Someone corrupted, and someone having fun.
Seems like if it's food or items, they're pretty generous. Not so much with information... but it's probably not their fault.
[ They're sort of... held captive in their robes, is sort of how Minato sees it, and he isn't at the point where he would question that further. The same way Futaba was held captive by the darkness, the corruption, or whatever it is. None of it was her fault either, but it's still her and her body and the pain and fear she will feel, so at the very very least, he wanted to do something for her. Who knows if it helped. ]
But you're right... we didn't get everyone. One person who is corrupted... I wonder if they would kill again? And the other... [ Minato shrugs. ] I guess I can't understand killing for fun. When there's like... video games, and stuff to play.
[He shrugs, but it only partially seems uninterested.]
Sol and Lune say the corrupted will become worse if unpurified. Perhaps it will get more powerful hiding in another for one more week. Ah, that person will be strong, don’t you think? How exciting.
I’d like to find them. The corrupted and the other one.
[Hello, the clown has come calling which is horrifically cursed. Worse, he can probably find Minato anywhere Minato is lingering unless the boy is outright hiding.]
[ Don't answer his question with a question... It just makes his doubts, already overflowing, even worse. ]
I remember sleeping, yeah. But nothing about anything else... That doesn't mean anything, though. The corrupted don't remember what happened either, right?
[ Minato has no idea how early on Tuesday to meet Hisoka, so he just gets out of bed/the floor of his house and heads for the shrine to wait for Hisoka. He's wearing his shiba inu kigu and munching on a loaf of bread. Breakfast. ]
[I wish I could yell about how adorable Minato is in character, but alas that's creepy. Minato makes some choices, and, like, none of them are ever great at all.
But Hisoka is there because of course he is, end me. He's waiting patiently for Minato, perched on one of the steps to the shrine.]
[ First Minato thinks he's getting a head pat, but then he's being faced towards the mountains and his smile drops a little. He hopes he's not going to be expected to climb the mountains, but... oh well. Onward march. ]
Yeah. We had a sleepover. Next time, you should join too.
[ HE REALLY SHOULDN'T...... but Minato would invite him anyways ]
[The idea of everyone there and Hisoka bending down his large frame to step into a room full of probably mostly teenagers and shit is hysterical, but YEAH, HE REALLY SHOULDN'T, MINATO?
But unfortunately, Minato is going to have to walk up the mountainous paths to the top. Or, like, kind of high. RIP.]
[ sighs into the sky, these are the things Minato will suffer through for the sake of one clown senpai. He won't complain about it, like he never complained about all those consecutive nights of climbing stair after stair back home, but Hisoka might have to leave Minato on the mountainside if he wants to make it back in time for the CYOA ]
Are you...? I'm kinda shy too. [ Is he? Minato "lack of stranger danger means I befriend the worst people" Arisato? ] I'll be there, though. And you can always count on me to support you.
w1, sunday post purify

Hello.

w2, post death/before trial
Yo.
no subject
Yo. [ We're jumping right to it bc I won't be online all day-- ]
Did you kill Kazuaki, or did you save me?
no subject
What makes you say that?
no subject
You gave me Joker. Nobody else should have known.
[ Nobody else would break into his room to do this???? ]
no subject
You see, it changes when your heart changes. Now you have an Ace of Spades. How exciting. It's the card of death.
no subject
I killed Kazuaki?
[ If it changed overnight, and his heart is death... omg ]
no subject
Did you? But you remember, right? Sleeping.

Yo.
[ Minato brightens up upon seeing Hisoka, shuffling steps a bit faster but still shuffling, and he looks tired, like always. ]
Want some bread?
no subject
[He rises fluidly to a stand as Minato gets to him. One hand drops on top of Minato's head.] Let's take a walk. [He carefully spins Minato around
to face east, toward the mountainous air region. Now they can walk.]
Did you have fun with your friends?
no subject
Yeah. We had a sleepover. Next time, you should join too.
[ HE REALLY SHOULDN'T...... but Minato would invite him anyways ]

[Once they're down the east path, though, at the end right as it spills into the airy and mountainous region, Hisoka stops to peer at Minato.]
